Single-sphere rubber expansion joints (also known as rubber joints or vibration isolators) are primarily used to absorb pipeline displacement, reduce vibration, and decrease noise. They effectively mitigate axial, lateral, and angular displacements caused by temperature changes, water hammer, or equipment operation, preventing pipeline rupture.

Single-sphere rubber expansion joints are widely used in the following scenarios:
1.Water Supply and Drainage and Fire Protection Systems:** Hot and cold water pipes in high-rise buildings, fire protection pipelines, and urban water supply networks, primarily to absorb vibrations caused by pump startup.
2.Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems:** Chillers, cooling towers, and central air conditioning pipelines, mitigating stress caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
3.Industrial and Petrochemical Pipelines:** Chemical plants, pharmaceutical factories, and wastewater treatment plants, resisting corrosion from acids, alkalis, and oils.
4.Power Engineering:** Piping systems in nuclear power plants and power plant boiler equipment.
