Inconel 625 Hinged Expansion Joint

A hinged expansion joint made of Inconel 625 superalloy, designed to provide reliable angular displacement compensation and structural load-bearing capacity for piping systems under high-temperature and highly corrosive conditions.

EMAIL

The Inconel 625 hinged expansion joint is a pipe compensation component primarily manufactured from the nickel-based superalloy Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Through a hinge mechanism, the product restricts out-of-plane movement of the piping system and permits only angular deflection, thereby absorbing angular displacement caused by thermal expansion while transmitting pressure thrust and other loads to the hinge structure, preventing additional stress on pipes and equipment.

Features:

  1. Excellent high-temperature performance: Inconel 625 maintains good mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, suitable for service above 600°C.

  2. Outstanding corrosion resistance: Highly resistant to chlorides, acidic media, and seawater, making it suitable for demanding conditions in petrochemical and offshore engineering.

  3. Strong structural load capacity: Hinge components are made of high-strength alloy, capable of withstanding significant pressure thrust and bending moment loads.

  4. Precise angular displacement compensation: The hinge structure restricts non-axial movement, ensuring stable angular compensation within the designated plane.

  5. Long service life: The material offers excellent fatigue resistance, maintaining reliable operation under repeated thermal cycling conditions.

Applications:
Widely used in petrochemical, power generation, metallurgy, offshore engineering, and high-temperature flue gas piping systems where high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and structural reliability are required.
